A pair of F-15s, a pair of C-130s, a (local) C-5, and this KC-10 all flew over in a span of about 15 minutes. The 5 and 130 are still circling, haven't seen the others for a couple hours

Located near an AF base?
All I see are C-130’s from Airborne school.

Two. Westover and Barnes. The 15's were probably from the latter

That’s so cool! I remember this summer, my sister and I were down in Washington, DC and spent a few hours one morning watching planes take off and land at Reagan National. We were actually able to stand in a park, very near one of the main runways (shown in the picture below). Landing planes flew right overhead on their way to landing, and planes took off down the runway away from us, making for some great photos/video.
There was one point when an older tail-engined jet sat at the end of the runway, running his engines at high speed for about 15-20 seconds before actually moving, and the combination of the sound, smell, and vibration (which we could feel throughout our bodies) was crazy!
